Blind or Visually Impaired

You have recently become visually impaired or your child has received the diagnosis. You begin to wonder what is out there to help your child or yourself succeed in the world. Are there any places to help teach independence? How do the schools work when you are blind or visually impaired? Are there any support groups out there? Are there any job training programs out there for the blind or visually impaired? I have included some resources not associated with our organization to help you on this information quest.
