School Transfer Basics

Odds are that a family will move into a new school district at least once during a child's school career. It is a more complicated process transfering the academic and Special Education records of a disabled child. The Special Education file does not get automatically transfered in some cases without a parent requesting those records because it is a seperate file. Does my child need a new IEP document since he/she changed schools? I will include some resources not associated with our organization to help you learn more about this subject.
